Ass. Prof. Oleg Ditrich (*1953) graduated from Faculty of science, University of J. E. Purkyně (today's Masaryk university) in Brno. In Centre for Polar Ecology and at the Department of Parasitology at the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia, deals with parasitology, including biology of parasites of polar regions.
