Information for Seminar speakers

  • Standard seminars last a maximum of 85 minutes. The usual scenario is a 45–50 minute lecture followed by a 15–30 minute discussion.
  • Lecturers are kindly requested to send us a short abstract/annotation of their lecture.
  • Student reports last 20–25 minutes + about 10–15 minutes of discussions, comments, recommendations.
  • The audience is diverse in its focus, consisting mainly of employees and students of the University (Department of Experimental Plant Biology) and the Biological Center (Institute of Molecular Plant Biology).
  • Seminars and PhD reports are in English. Presentations of undergraduate students are usually in Czech.
