PhD opportunity in Barcelona - rePLANT program

The Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG, Barcelona, Spain) would like to host a PhD student through the rePLANT (Reconstruction Biology in Plant Sciences) Doctoral Training Program (https://www.cofund-replant.eu/). rePLANT is a MSCA-COFUND program coordinated by CRAG in collaboration with the John Innes Centre (JIC, Norwich, UK) and the Max Planck Institute for Breeding Research (MPIPZ, Cologne, Germany).

This is an excellent opportunity for a four-year PhD fellowship in the exciting fields of epigenetics, non-coding regulation and plant developmental biology. We offer a project to study the regulatory role of long-non coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in seed germination and seedling establishment in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. The candidate will gain skills in epigenomics, bioimaging and bioinformatics. The program offers the possibility of a secondment at a collaborator at JIC in UK.
