The International tropical ecology field course (August 2025) offers students the opportunity to embark on a unique educational adventure into the tropical rainforests of Papua New Guinea, home to more than 6% of the world's biodiversity.
Students will be able to experience first-hand the stunning diversity of the destination, from birds to butterflies, and everything in between.
Requirements and application:
- Participants must be enrolled at the time of the course as a bachelor or master student at the Faculty of Science, University o South Bohemia.
- We accept applications from any study specialisation but you must be able to demonstrate an interest and basic understanding of ecology or related fields.
- The costs of the course will be 20 000 CZK and it is advised that students bring approx. 10 000 CZK in spending money.
