on the specification of conditions for a change in a degree programme and a change in a model study plan
This Provision specifies the procedures for changing the study programme and the study plan according to Articles 25 and 29 of the Study and Examination Code of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.
Article 1
Change of study programme and study plan
1) A change in the study programme can only be executed after completing the first year of study. Successful completion means that the student obtains at least 40 credits and, at the same time, is not classified as "failed" in any compulsory or complulsory-elective course.
2) A student may apply for a change in the study plan at any time during the study.
3) In exceptional cases, an admitted but not yet registered applicant may also apply for a change in the programme.
Article 2
Application submission
1) Applications are submitted through the Study department, hand signed or signed with a qualified certificate. The application can also be submitted via IS STAG.
2) Application for a change in a study programme:
a) Is submitted no later than by the end of the tenth month following the beginning of studies,
b) Must include the written consent of the guarantor of the new programme, the student number, and a list of courses for which recognition is currently being requested.
3) Application for a change to the sample study plan:
a) Is administered at the end of the semester
b) Must include the written consent of the guarantor of the programme and the student number.
Article 3
Recognition of study obligations
1) Recognition of study obligations in the case of a change of study programme
a) Grades and credits awarded for completing compulsory and elective courses from the applicant's new study plan are recognized.
b) Grades of 2 or better are recognized.
c) Grades not older than one year are recognized.
2) When changing the study plan, all completed courses are recognized according to their role in the new study plan, i.e. compulsory/compulsory-elective/elective.
Article 4
Final provisions
The text of this measure applicable from 27 October 2021 is hereby repealed.
This updated version shall be effective on the date of issue.
